Donna K. Vaupel, is the Immediate Past President of the NJ Association for Gifted Children (NJAGC), the State Affiliate of the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC). Donna was a member of the NJ Commissioner of Education’s Gifted and Talented Advisory Commission. She is a past recipient of NJAGC’s Educator of the Year Award and the Gifted Child Society’s Fellow Award. Donna recently retired as a public school educator after 33 years, with over 25 in the field of gifted education. She helped to develop, teach and coordinate gifted programs in Union County, NJ and also served as the co-chair of the Union County Gifted and Talented Association for several years.  Donna, holds a masters from Kean University in Education/Administration with a Specialization in Gifted and Talented, and is the parent of two adult children who were participants in gifted programs.

After a successful  Spring 2011 lecture series launch for parents of advanced learners, the P.A.L. Workshop Series is back, better and bigger with more resources, more speakers, more topics for all age ranges and a gifted education listserv for New York City parents too!

The P.A.L.
